Woodland creatures a la Kmatw: bunny rabbits

Finished the prototype Bunny Rabbit Bag.  It's a simple li'l thing with a snap closure.  The lining is a lovely bird-n-owl fabric given to me by the Hummingbird.  The rabbit-design came from Kristin's assertion that woodland creatures are the next big thing.

Overall I'm pleased with the outcome.  A few of the embroidery stitches aren't as even as I would like, and I'm not sure why.  I think it has to do with the needle I was using.

I've already cut another one in a different shade of blue, to be stitched as soon as I can get to it.  It's waiting patiently behind a yoga-mat bag in progress and 2 small alteration jobs.  I think the second one will turn out beautifully - for me the second time's usually the charm.

In the meantime, I will let this one go for a reduced price since it's the first.  A sample sale, if you will.  I plan to charge $30 for future Bunny Rabbit Bags (embroidery-by-hand takes ever-so-long to finish).  This one, however, could be yours for $20, plus shipping.  Unless you live in NYC and we can arrange a hand-off.  Mosey on over to the Lavinia Nebbs etsy shop, or contact me for details.

Update: SOLD on 12/5/12.
