I have always been an avid pickle-eater. As a kid I made pickle-juice popsicles. People give me pickles for my birthday. I am both English and Southern in my uprbringing, and have deeply held beliefs concerning pickled products.
However, I had never made pickles in my home, until my roommate McD got me the best Christmas present ever: The Joy of Pickling.
