Grocery Tote... um... Naked Lady with a Tambo

$20 + shipping.

Simple tote. Two snaps, lined. Fabric came in a box of donations containing fancy designer-ish, kitschy, occasionally bizarre remnants.

Yes, that is a naked lady with a tambourine. Maids are a-milkin' and whatnot on the other side.  Buy and be this happy:

Grocery Tote, Black with Gigantic Flower

$20 + shipping.

Once again, my late-night description-well runneth dry.  Slightly reminiscent of this guy.  Or this one.  Except in black.

Check it out in my Etsy shop.

Experiment: Foldable Grocery Tote with Button Fastener

Experimentation... success?

Simple grocery tote, meant to be folded up inside another bag.... yes, yes, I've done this before, but this time I'm including the little tab and button to actually fasten the whole shebang together.

These two are prototypes and will be going out as gifts.  But I think I like the idea.

Taupe Grocery Tote, With Big Flower

$20+shipping

A sequel to the Green Grocery Tote with the big-assed flower on it.  Meet the Taupe Grocery Tote with a big-assed flower on it.

I put serious thought into the "taupe" designation.  It's not beige, it's not khaki, it's not natural or ecru... it's pretty much taupe.

No-frills, easy-peasey, will fold up easily inside other larger bags.  Good for travel and impromptu grocery trips.  An excellent example of a dayoffbag.  Not to mention cheapish.

Zip-Pouch... Namaste.

At this point, you know Kristin, right?  And this awesome design she drew for me to embroider on yoga mat bags and stuff, right?

Ok, good.

So I'm embroidering this design on other stuff now.  All strictly experimental.  This one's for the purple-lover in your life.  It actually kinda matches The YMB in Purple and Yellow Floral Print.

See the Etsy listing here.

Purple Corduroy + Beads

$15 + shipping

So my friends have taken to giving me their old clothes, which I promptly butcher and salvage for cool fabric options.  Mostly denim and the occasional corduroy.  Most of the pouches you see here, were once my friends' pants.  These cords, however, were mine.  They served me well!

This is just a fun li'l zipper-pouch with beading detail.  See more on Etsy here.

Freaking Cute: Green Grocery Tote with Big Flower

$20 + shipping.

So, I suck at product descriptions.  I call it like I see it.  And this is: a green grocery tote with a big-assed flower on it.  No-frills, easy-peasey, will fold up easily inside other larger bags.  Good for travel and impromptu grocery trips.

It's also freakingcute.  Not to mention cheapish.  Really happy with this one.  Would love for it to find a good home.

Kissin' Cousins: Simple Tapestry Bags

Red-Beige Tapestry Bag, $18 + shipping.
Green Diamond Tote, $20 + shipping.

These guys are kissin' cousins to the no-frills bag: simple, two sided, a coupla snaps, done and done.

I guess they're also kinda kissin' cousins to each other, too... They both come from a stash of upholstery/tapestry-type remnants I acquired awhile bag, so they come from the same fam.

You could use 'em as shopping totes or day-off bags, too.

This is the back of the Red-Beige Tapestry Bag (pictured on the left, above), and the inside as well:

Clearance, Clarence

$18 + shipping.
I have a Clearance section in my Etsy shop.  It's like the Island of Misfit Toys.  A home for items that don't pass my inspection, but still deserve a home.  And are available at a reduced price.

In this case: you can't tell from the photo, but this guy is a little wonky.  Slightly-lopsided.  And even though I spent a ton of time making it... didn't quite turn out the way I expected.

Still, perfectly up to the task of holding your eyewear.  And when the glasses are in the pouch, you can't even tell the difference.

Squares.

$22 + shipping.
Keeping the embroidery designs simple helps me to keep the cost down.  You know I love detailed work, but this design is nice and simple... and it looks pretty cool against the dark-washed denim.

This is a zipper pouch, 7" W x 4.5" H.  Made from recycled jeans and hand-embroidered.

You can see more pics and info on the etsy listing here.

Sarong Flower Strikes Again.

As previously stated, this fabric is called "sarong flower print."  I have no idea why.

But it's a really nice neutral fabric... kinds goes with everything.

This is a simple tote with a magnetic snap.  See the etsy listing here.

YMB: Sarong Flower Print

When I bought this fabric online it was called, "Sarong Flower."  I have no idea what that means.  But I was pleasantly surprised.  There's a tote bag coming too.
