A sequel to the Green Grocery Tote with the big-assed flower on it. Meet the Taupe Grocery Tote with a big-assed flower on it.
I put serious thought into the "taupe" designation. It's not beige, it's not khaki, it's not natural or ecru... it's pretty much taupe.
No-frills, easy-peasey, will fold up easily inside other larger bags. Good for travel and impromptu grocery trips. An excellent example of a dayoffbag. Not to mention cheapish.
Cutest idea I've EVER had?!? Well, actually, no. It wasn't totally my idea, I can't take full credit. I was messing about with the hedgehog idea, but it was a dear old friend who suggested, "Make it a coin-purse and call it a 'Hedge Fund.'"
My friends are smart AND funny. And this pouch is freaking cute.
Hedgie designed by Kmat. Stitched and built by me. The colors in this one remind me of wine 'n' crackers, hence the name.
Check out the Etsy listing. Don't be afraid to convo me with custom requests for colors and such, the possibilities are endless!
When I bought this fabric online it was called, "Sarong Flower." I have no idea what that means. But I was pleasantly surprised. There's a tote bag coming too.
Medium-sized tote, same dimensions as this tote in blue. Carries a coupla books, a water bottle, shades, wallet, even a pair of spare sandals in the summertime.
As previously stated: I envision this bag on a picnic in Central Park.
Ideal for city-livin' (or just a life on-the-go), this bag also sports two easy-access deeeeep side pockets big enough for your phone and easy access to your Metro card. Or a checkbook and ID. Or whatever.
