Zip-Pouch... Namaste.

At this point, you know Kristin, right?  And this awesome design she drew for me to embroider on yoga mat bags and stuff, right?

Ok, good.

So I'm embroidering this design on other stuff now.  All strictly experimental.  This one's for the purple-lover in your life.  It actually kinda matches The YMB in Purple and Yellow Floral Print.

See the Etsy listing here.

Freaking Cute: Woodland Creatures Experiment

VERY EXCITED about this little family.  I designed them all by myself (no small feat as I can't draw worth a damn).

Mixed feelings about the porcupine... I have a home for this gal but I dunno if I wanna make any more of her.  IT TOOK FOREVER.  Gonna experiment with a different fourth animal for the tribe.

Overall assessment: even the non-porcupine related animals take sooooo long to make y'all.  They're $60-80 each in order to pay myself for the time spent.  So if you're interested in purchasing one-a these 100% handmade cuties, shoot me a message!

Cute baby toy alert

Every once in awhile I make something and I'm not quite sure of the outcome.  I stitch it all up, turn it right-side-out, and then I'm like, "Holy shit, that's freaking cute."  I am immobilized by the cuteness.  Like I can't stop staring at it.  And I don't even normally gravitate towards the cute.  But this tiny plush fleece stuffed owl I made?  CUTE.

I'm not keeping it.  This little guy is a gift for a friend's toddler.

Sadly, it's not my pattern, so I cannot sell.  Once again I must give credit to Aimee Ray and her book Doodle-Stitching.  (I tell ya, that lady has the market cornered on the cuteness.)  However, I sent this photo to kmatw, and asked her if we could come up with something - a fleece-y plushy 2-D animal, and she is totally working on a design.
